i wish
i wish people would take things a little more seriously than they do.. i don't know.. sometimes i want to know people opinions and not have them make fun of the topic or go off topic. it's nice to have intelligent conversation and yeah it's nice to have fun too, but do you really need to turn a potentially thoughtful thread into a 'ha ha' let's just say some random things and ignore it
anyway, i have a couple of important meetings today - i'm really hoping they'll go well for us :)

..and i think it's awful that people paint their entire world with cynicism. why do they have to make fun of absolutely everything? is it a way of not dealing with things? is it a way to keep oneself superior? i am quite incapable of understanding what makes people tick.
