starting again

i'm back.. didn't really go anywhere.. just needed a break from things

so many things going on that i felt like simplifying what i could. i'm still going to be low-key, but i'm going to try to at least post something here again every day or so.

dad's getting better, still in a cast. thank you for those who sent me a message about him

the wedding preparations are coming along slowly. Regan and i are really getting down to what we want, my mum is really getting down to what SHE wants (it's that whole my wedding/my mum's wedding thing). again, we can't book too many things until the visa is submitted and passed but at least we've set the day and booked the gardens for the ceremony. we're probably looking at him getting here in april which makes me sad in so many ways, but as long as he gets here (we keep saying). everything happens for a reason i guess, patience is a virtue

the muscles in my arms and hands are acting up again, so it's hard for me to type/design/photograph/hold things for long period of time. i don't want it to get any worse, but sometimes there are so many ideas in my head that i want to express graphically/photographically and i can't because of what's happening to my body. i can't help but wonder what my life will be like if it continues to get worse, 20 years from now will my hands be even functional?

Regan sent me sea change through the mail yesterday and its such a fitting album for me at the moment, one of those 'right album at the right time' records. we're both counting down for ( ) to come out, i'm waiting til i get the full length cd in my hands before listening to any tracks. and while i'm talking about music, i'm seeing john mayer on sunday night so i should have a good time, and maybe even take some good photos. we'll see..

i've been sitting away in my own little bubble, with a few guest stars.
