maniac manson

did you ever have a commodore 64? did you ever play maniac mansion? i did! (yes, my geekiness goes all the way back).. i've been trying to find it again online and get a decent emulator so i can re-live the memories of going past those gooey green things in that spooky scentist's house.. my sister and i would take turns trying to win the damn game - sad thing is, i don't think anyone ever finished that game

oh! i just remembered Garfield aswell! cept it wasn't really a game - more like a design your own Garfield scene.. memories!

edit : good lord i found a copy of Maniac Mansion and i didn't need an emulator!! here it is!... now let me go back to my nerd cave

Holy crap, I loved that game :) I didn't actually find out about it until the sequel (Day Of The Tentacle) came out on PC, but yeah, very cool stuff :) I'm pretty sure I finished it with most of the characters, but I was a pretty geeky kid :-p

Fraid I won't make it to Augie March/Waikiki tho :( My mother is going in for reconstructive surgery and I'm going home to help baby sit the house. But it would be cool to meet up sometime if we found another common event or excuse :)

BTW Mine and Christina's plans are all in place and I finish paying off my airfare next week. I'm going to be in the US with her from December 20 to January 21st. Life is beautiful :)
