something's been eating my fish ..
and no, it's not me. it's the other fish. ew.
a couple of days ago, we couldn't find one of our guppies. they usually like to hide in their own little hidey-holes, but for some reason we never could find it. tonight, i did my usual search for fish in distress, and what do i find?
the skeleton of the guppy lying on the gravel floor. part of it's tail still attached. ew.
i won't post a pic of it, cause really who wants to see that? haha. but it creeps me out a little to know that it had been picked apart right down to the bone. it guess it's not as creepy as the news from iraq, but ew. one day you're swimming around, next day you're reduced to your own skeleton.
anyway - enough of the creepy fish talk (the others are doing great by the way). i've been taking some interesting self portraits again, like the one i posted yesterday. i'll post a couple more maybe in the enxt day or two, i just don't want to bombard you all with images of me, haha. regan and i have been talking about doing an art project together, so we might have something to show you soon.
dad left today aswell. hard to see him go, but it could be worse. he seemed excited to go, he always does. i hope he doesn't get into too much trouble this time. last time he almost broke some bones.eek.

fish are pretty. but then they go all.. wrong and stuff. the biggest problem my family had with fish was that the little water heater in our fish tank short-circuited and boiled all our fish to death. o_O sad sad. (and ew) and THEN. after we replaced our fishies and got a new tank heater, the glue around the edges of the tank had weakened from the previous little guppie-jacuzzi adventure and our 35-gallon tank went bye-bye all over our fully-carpeted living room and down the hall stairs. @_@ fun fun
no more fishies for us.
