i'm back!

well, back to at least 90% tracey.

after i posted on saturday, i was sicker than i've ever been before and it didn't really stop til yesterday. all those symptoms my doc had told me to expect - well they came! i'm talking one degree from passing out nausea, sweating deliriously under a cold shower, no food or water going on, coughing up stuff and all that junk. my parents saw that i was really not doing good and high tailed me back to the doctor's office. blood tests came back normal (cept for the bile) and the anti nausea stuff i've been taking is HEAVEN. he couldn't explain why i was sick, because he said that i didn't have that bug i was diagnosed with before (because i'm not coughing or sneezing like i have the flu) - he even asked whether i was pregnant (pretty powerful sperm to get here from the states!).

all in all, i think i'm on my way to recovery. i'm off all medications because i want to detox myself from all that crap and it's working in my favour. the best tracey, is a drug free tracey.

i did go pick up my dad on sunday morning (it was an adventure i tell you) - and he's real sick too. he's never had the flu this bad, we've never seen him rugged up, coughing, hot water bottled and antibiotic taking. he's still taking his other medication which can't cancel out the new medication, blugh. he's wearing a mask around the house so he doesn't cough on things, but i think he'll be okay in a week or two. he brought us back a stack of movies so while i've been resting up, i've seen a few.

Final Destination 2 - actually not as bad as i thought. cheesy lines but funny and fast scenes that made me want to keep watching
Jackass - load of crap but what was i expecting?
Ghost Ship - waste of time
Maid in Manhattan - a combination of jackass + ghost ship
The Hot Chick - my sister was laughing her ass off, and i was laughing at her

on cable i saw Ring and Ring 0 which weren't as scary as people were telling me. The Ring (the remake) still freaks me out more but the ending of Ring 0 was cool. i still have to see The Pianist plus a few others but i'll get around to it in the next few weeks

anyway, i have easter break coming up which will be good for me. i'll get to hang out with my dad some more and look after him. i hope that my cameras get here because i want to go to different places around sydney. easter show? maybe but it's like $200 to get in and stay for the day so i don't know. good photo ops too though.

life's not so bad today, hopefully no more 'sick' talk to share with you after this.
