updates & a question
 i got around to redesigning shutterbug last night - it's only a real quick and easy design but i like it. it seems to work well i think. if you've got time, visit and vote  or just visit and let me know what you think!
i also wanted to ask what you guys think about self portraits .. lately i've been exploring more of it, taking shots that i think are a bit more interesting that what i've done before. i'm comfortable being infront of the camera if i'm not doing something tasteless, so i'm not ashamed to post them. however, i don't want to come off as being self-absorbed and self-obsessed. i definately don't do it by means of 'showing off'. should i be posting myself up so much? does it really matter?

self-portraits are fascinating. they say a lot about the artist. keep it up, i say.

I've often wondered the same thing Tracey ! (when I take them)
To combat that, I've been experimenting with different kinds of self portraits.. and tried to stay away from taking pictures that look like a net cam pic.

well, that's what i try to do aswell, so hopefully they just don't seem like ordinary snapshots. i just get paranoid i guess ...

i take bunches of self portraits, but i dont post them too often because i end up feeling the same way as you tracey. but its not that way at all, im just interested in how i look from a camera's view, and how different i can look within just a few days. i love looking back at my self portraits and seeing how ive changed...i can see my mood in them.
basically what i'm saying is dont stop :)

With so many people taking photos, self-portraits are the one subject that no one else can duplicate. I wish that I was as comfortable in front of the camera as you, but then again, you have a better model to work with. The more self-portraits the better; explore!
