monday mornings suck

yeah the alarm clock went off when it was supposed too, and yeah i should of gotten up straight away.. and yeah i should of believed Regan when he said it was 8.45 and i'd be late.. but that's Monday's for you haha

our clothes dryer doesn't really 'dry' clothes - more like warms them up and makes them damper than they were, so over the weekend our apartment turns into wet clothes land where hanging them out to dry for a day or two works faster than the dryer itself. haha. it's good though, saves electricity - just don't be afraid to see tshirts, pants and linen next to the computer!

for some reason, the fridge didn't close all the way last night - so overnight the food inside didn't get properly refridgerated and now i'm afraid to eat anything in there :( (sensitive stomach) i'll survive but bad timing since we just did the grocery shopping and mum gave us alot of leftovers yesterday. grrr.

had a great weekend, went back to my parent's place for Regan's birthday bbq where we hung out with Sabrina, Nick and my sister. my family bought Regan a really awesome mp3 player since i knew he wanted one. it's so small and has some cool features like voice recording and a radio on there too, so i'm pretty happy that he likes it. he also scored a HUGE jar of candy which should keep him sugared up for at least a few weeks (or days..)

must give a plug to the awesome Mary of boxfive and littlerowboat.net fame. i think i'm about to get obsessed with her song 'off the hook'.

i finally got my archives page the way i wanted it, and i've added rotating photographs to the left. if you still haven't answered my interview questions, they are still here!

thanks to everyone for the kind comments on the new design! hopefully i won't get another itch to design it again for at least a month or two because i really like it alot. one thing i want to do is try my hand at flash again (since i'm pretty crap at it right now).. i'd love to see a moving header image up there at some stage.

someone didn't use the flash for this photo but it's ok cause i look silly anywayi get to pick up my double sided glossy photo paper today, so here's to hoping that it's the right stuff cause i had to order like 6 packets in one go. if it all works out though, invitations for the wedding will be going out in 2 weeks time which also means i'll probably post a photo poll since Regan and i will be using one of my photographs as the 'cover' image. we've got a cool postcard-like invite design going on so hopefully it will be unique for us!
