it's not over yet!
spent the morning in chinatown, shooting images for one of my last college tutorials - and i wasn't disappointed! the chinese new year parade was in full swing and holy moly you've never seen me smile so much (outside being with Regan, mind you! hehe). i don't know what it is, i'm not a very traditional girl but the colour, the people, the lion and dragon dances -
i love it.
i ended up shooting quite a few photographs - too much for just 1 entry at
shutterbug, so i'm thinking of posting two seperate series. i guess i
really really love being in festival atmosphere's with a camera in hand. everything is unpredictable, you never know what you're going to see and never know who'll you meet along the way.
in other photography news, i came second in the
Keks : 2004 Australian Blog Awards to the very deserving
JinkyArt.com. yay! thanks to all that voted :) there's a tonne of great photoblogs out there, so the recognition is awesome.
