how was your leap day?
mine, well it started off great! then .. i got real sick (again).
there's something wrong with me, i think. i'm still spinning, still having headaches and dizziness, i still feel nauseous and i'm still tired ... i'm not sure exactly how long i've been feel this crap - maybe 2 weeks now? i don't know what's going on and that suckssss. the only things that i'll eat that don't make me feel worse are toast and cruskits (crackers) and water, although i can't resist the odd chocolate cookie - i haven't touched the yummy chocolate mudcake that i bought 3 days ago!
anywayyyy, feb 29 was interesting nonetheless! i had set a few key things in the day to do that was out of my comfort zone and out of my usual sunday routine and it was fun!
i don't know whether most of you know this - but i'm deathly afraid of heights. i never used to be until my sister was describing (in detail) her fear of heights as we were driving over the anzac bridge and now i'm a scaredy cat! i knew that if i wanted to so something to do with heights, it would have to be first thing in the morning. so off i went and let the elevator shoot me up 250 metres into the sky, so i could walk around the Sydney Tower (also known as Sydney Centrepoint).
how did i feel? do the words 'terror' and 'body convulsions' illustrate it? haha. actually it wasn't that bad - i managed to walk around the turret twice to get some OK photos (let's face it, if you're about to throw up you're not wanting to take photos even if you're me). yep, i was too chicken to actually walk up to the edge of the room but hey, i went up in the first place! after the two laps though, i had to get down or i'd die up there. altogether i spent about 15 mins up there which is more than i thought i would. i'd do it again for sure, i'd like to get used to heights sometime ... (to add, i didn't feel sick afterwards for hours so i don't think the heights thing was making me sick yesterday)
other parts of my day included taking the light rail to the fish markets to get some scallops for dinner, i usually take the monorail to get stuff but not yesterday! and an unexpected happy minute - back to the scene of my embarassing parallel park job - i parallel parked my dad's CR-V without any problems! i wish i got of photo of that :P
the rest of the night was me lying in bed or running to the bathroom ready to throw up - so i don't think my photos will be that good this time around but we'll see. i'll be putting up the a day in the life : the leap day finished form in a couple of hours or so (i didn't get to do it last night since i was .. well you know by now)
can wait to see what everyone else did!!!

Hope you feel better! I know I don't know you personally - and some people have mentioned it before .. but.. what about the P-word? Some of the symptoms you keep mentioning do relate.. but they also go hand-in-hand with the flu. Regardless, hope you feel better! I will be participating in the Day In The Life after my leapday is over. :)

Hope you are feeling better Tracey
my day sucked .... went out to do some pics for "Day in the Life" and my D100 has decided to play up again. So went home to get my F80 and remembered once I got home it is at my mates place and they are away. I ended up sitting in front of the computer for the rest of the day.
.... I hope they replace the D100 this time or is it a sign telling me to switch to a Canon 10D :)

I've never taken the monorail - one of my friends calls it the Shelbyville monorail (from the Simpsons) though, which I think is quite funny. Sydneysiders don't seem to though... :)
Hope you feel better soon...better get out those pregnancy tests!

Wow, I bet Australia is such a nice place. Me and my boyfriend plan to take a trip there one of these days. Actualy, we're going to Thailand in like 2 weeks. We're planning to take one trip a year. Maybe Australia will be our next. We'll see. Thanks for the great March wallpaper! :)

Hey tracey. What's going on in your message boards? I went to look around and I found a disturbing and racist thread. I just wanted to get your attention so it could be removed. It is in General Discussion/ Finally, A Car For Women, By Women/ posted by Pong and others. Personally I find it offensive and would like it to be removed along with any other racist posts that might be there.
Thanks, sorry for writing here but I don't have access to email at this time.
