on/off

for the past few days my net connection hasn't been working.. so that meant no new entries. as soon as i posted 1 thing, or looked up something quick it quit out on me.. well not today - i'm posting something before anything else.. :P

because of daylight savings this morning, i got alot of things done today. first up was the sydney camera market in nearby ultimo/pyrmont. i couldn't believe how many camera lovers there are out there on a sunday morning! and i couldn't stop drooling at the hundreds of vintage cameras (all in working order too). i intentionally didn't bring much cash with me because i would of gone nuts in there - but i did pick up a circular polariser on the cheap ($20).

after the camera market, i did the usual sunday shop, bought some stuff that Regan needed, sent off a package to a friend (mr t), picked up the newspaper, came home, had lunch, did the washing, cleaned the floors, cleaned out the fridge, read the paper, went for a monorail ride into the city, popped in to see Regan at work, walked around the mall, stopped over at the indonesian festival at darling harbour, went to chinatown and now i'm here! i love that it's only 4PM and i have a few things planned still =D

over the weekend, i saw that the sydney morning herald/the age (australian national newspaper) had published a great review of shutterbug through the website and print last week! one thing they didn't get right though was my surname, but dewi (the writer) was really cool in helping get it changed on the website (print has already gone through) and will be sending me a hard copy for me to keep. yay!

time to get going once more, hope everyone's having a great weekend! to everyone who's written to me about putting up lighting tutorials and camera suggestions etc. - i'll get to it real soon, promise.

Danni .. the energy i had yesterday baffles me :P i was actually really really sick on friday night (Regan was too actually), so i was expecting a lull of a weekend

Susan .. i haven't seen ANY good stuff in thrift shops :( a camera market is heaven though!

Jamieanne .. next one is July 25 i think. we should meet up and go together ok? i only found out about this one on friday by accident (a tiny tiny leaflet at fotoreisel kent st, which was hidden amongst bigger camera booklets)

Pete! i hope so, it's weird because it's turning into more than another one of my websites

Shar.. i had NO idea it was daylight savings time until saturday :P i have no idea about daylight savings in different countries too haha
