taking on the big dogs

last week i decided that Mischa needed much more socialisation with other dogs and humans, so on saturday morning we headed out to Hawthorne Canal for a peek around.

Mish's still not up to big walks, so we started out with just a small stretch of grass and back to the car again. on the way, she must of met 10 or 12 dogs of all sizes - the best match would of been the huge labrador which Mischa loved to jump up on, and another giant dog (i can't remember the breed) that slobbered all over her face and left a big goober right in between her eyes.. very very cute but SMELLY! haha

by the time she got back to the car, she was out like a light which is what i wanted. it's good to keep her happy and busy - she loved the interaction, though she's going through a 'i'm scared of bird noises' phase, so i decided to bring her back on sunday for another outing.

the best part, for me, was that i got to see other dogs, big and small, and met alot of people. everyone was so nice, and LOVED that Mischa 'prances' when she walks. (she's part pony, we think).

we'll definately be back next week. and hopefully i'll get some photos with her new giant friends!

p.s. no, i'm not turning this into a DOG-BLOG, haha. i swear i have other things to talk about .... maybe haha
