last minute nerves?
i don't know what it is with me lately, but i think it's nerves about today's wedding.
i really do feel excited and ready to go and shoot great photos - but for some reason in the past few days, i've been physically sick (ick) and been having nightmares about not showing at the right place, or on time.
i'm a time freak - so i love to get to places early, especially if i haven't been there before.. i leave in about an hour, so that i have 2 hours to get there (haha) , though it should only take me just over an hour.
who knows what it could be? all mental, Regan says. my 2GB CF card hasn't arrived and i ordered it last week (i should of just gone to the shop), my back up camera's (film) battery died on me this morning, so i'm taking the holga (yay! but expensive to develop & print).
so i'll just use my 1GB to take 370 of the best shots i can take, instead of blind shooting and having a buffer zone. my x-drive will be back up storage (though i might not have time to back up since it'll be a busy afternoon). i've got some basic business cards printed, just in case. the weather looks awesome! i'm hoping for some sort of amazing sunset at the end of the day.
but i really really do feel fine.
or do i? haha

Aw matey,you're as neurotic as I am!
Im exactly the same about time and plan things out. "I need to be there at this time, so Ill this long to drive, so Ill have to leave at this time, which means Ill have to get ready at this time" and I think about it all day long so Im not late. Yet, Im often late anyway.
My psychologist told me I need to stop being worried about being late.
How'd it go?! Details!

haha, turns out i was almost an hour early!
everything was cool - no worries. lots of photos!
BUT...
i'm still sick so i figure it's a stomach bug of some sort. ewwww.

Hi Tracey - I'm glad it went well! I'm helping out for a friend of mine next week at her wedding. Mostly just for pracitice and a sort of 'backup' phtographer, since she has a professional coming. For some reason, I'm nervous as well! I'm sure your photos are beautiful!
