here comes november!

can you believe how fast time goes when you're ... hmm not having fun ... let's just say time flies.

i've finished my round of weddings for the year, and in the meantime i want to do some portraiture & fashion. first shoot is this weekend, hopefully another one to follow the week after and the week after that.

some great great news, is that Regan and I were able to scrape together a few pennies and book a trip to Malaysia with my Dad early January. i haven't been since ... 1997? and i think it will be a great opportunity to refresh my travel photography skills since it will be a while before i get to go overseas for a while. (let's face it, with all the clothes and shoes i seem to buy, and our mortgage, and my camera gear and my addiction to cupcakes - i ain't going nowhere until 2022).

anyway! back to our Malaysia trip, Regan's never been before so we're going to be busy visiting the temples, distant relatives and tucked away food places.. and pasa malum! i really want to take the opportunity to see and do things i don't normally do in Australia...

Mischa will be staying in Sydney with my Mum who has enthusiastically put her hand up to babysit.

my weekend was reallly good :) i don't usually manage to do a range of things over the sat/sun and also relax, so hooray for me! it can be done!

saturday - headed over the bridge to warringah for some retail therapy. i've been waiting and waiting to go shoe shopping and whenever i did, there were 37's anywhere in the city apparently. finally bought new sandals for summer and a pair of wedges as a treat (hey it was the myer 25% off sale!). scored some 50% off stuff too - can you tell i'm a saver??

saturday morning traffic


after sitting in traffic for 90 mins (it only took me 20 mins to get there!!) all the way from manly to the city, i got home in time to grab some lunch and see my dad.

sunday - did the usual grocery shop in the morning, and then headed out to meet up with my flickr buddies for a casual stroll up to Waterloo.. didn't manage to take alot of photos since i was using film, but had a great time with some new crazy friends. finally met amanda's sean :) amy! you NEED to take me shopping.

gotta run and do some last minute work (grr) and i just bumped my head real hard on the tv corner trying to retrieve Mischa' ball... :p
