daydreaming (again)
while i've been mostly couch/bedridden in the past week and a bit, i've gotten around to looking at architectural blogs (who knew they exist too!) and looking at some really amazing residential floor plans and models. i'll probably post one from time to time, my latest obsession is the 2 storey breeze house from Michelle Kaufmann Designs in the States.
now that i have the sims 2, i can recreate the house and get a sense of what it would look like 3D. yes, this is the part where you go 'that tracey is a big dork' (if you haven't already) but nothing makes me happier to plan my dream home!
anyway, here are a few screenshots of the house in progress. i've already decorated it and made custom wallpapers and floors so that it looks as close to the original as possible.
now that my sims 2 breeze house is almost done, i just gotta win the lottery and then figure out how to get them to build me the house here in Sydney!
next - more modern prefabricated houses

Hello! I love the artsy, super close-up photos! Very cool. Do you remember posting something about asking 20 questions and giving the answers in photos? It was from April 2004. I was cleaning my hard drive and found it again. Anyway, I had a question, but the link was broke. I shortened it and got your blog, so am unsure if this is the same or not. If you might be able to help me, I would be forever grateful. TIA, Michelle aka Epona
