poor Mischa

Mischa has been sick recently so I spent most of last week and the weekend looking after her and making sure she was OK, and yesterday she had her regular hospital visit to have her ears cleaned out properly (she grows mountains of hair right down to the ear drum that we cant get to ourselves).

she's still a bit woozy from the medication, she's definately not back to normal yet which is heartbreaking to see because she'll cry, scratch her ears and fall over constantly... i haven't been able to get a photo of her 'new ears' because she's way too fidgety and i want to leave her be until she's better. she keeps doing this dozing off head bob, where it looks like she's bobbing in the wind for hours and hours.

the vet said that she should fully recover by the end of the week, which will be a relief... poor bubs! i hate seeing her like this

i'm a bit worse for wear today, Regan kept on stealing the doona cover last night, wrapping himself in it and leaving me with nothing! everytime I woke up (probably 4-5 times) to grab some back, I woke up to a face full of his elbow in my face. so tired! and collld. i'll be ok, but i think i'm half way inventing a super-doona that expands when your partner steals your half.

my brother Gavin gets back from Europe tommorrow, Mum gets back from Malaysia on saturday - i can't wait to see them! dad gets back from Malaysia a couple weeks after, and my sister gets back from London after that. i've never been the only one in my family (not including Regan) in the country before, and it was weird to not see them around. i'm glad i realise all of this before it's too late (knock on wood). i guess people think it's weird to WANT to see your parents, but i just think i'm aware of how fleeting time can be.
