miracles to do happen

I finally got my lazy ass down to Bondi/Tamarama this morning at 7am to check out Sculpture by the Sea!

I'd been punking out on my early early to rise flickr buddies who had arranged just-before-sunrise meets (about 5.30AM) but something always came up or the weather looked really bad. Luckily for me, on this last weekend before it leaves, the sky was already blue when I woke up. No excuses now.



Parking was already packed up around Marks Park, but I managed to find something close so I didn't have to walk that much. (I've done my back/stomach in or something, so I've been sore all week). The crowds were minimal, mostly locals walking their dogs or getting a work out. The sun was already getting warm, but the sky was clear as far as you could see.

I'm glad I made the effort to get out this morning, even though a sleep in would of been nice, Sydney is too gorgeous to hide from it.
