the waiting game

if you're poor like me, medicare and bulk bill doctors are a godsend. but no one likes to wait 3 hours to see the only female doc in a city general practice. no i'm not exaggerating, i waited 3 hours to see the doc for 5 minutes. if i had paid $100, i could of had an appointment for 10 minutes set (which i will in future if i can't wait around like a bozo), but otherwise i had to schlept it in line.

(i don't know why they don't put on more doctors, male or female. i wouldn't of minded seeing a male doc, it's just that i was told to see this particular one. they seriously only had 2 doctors working, at least 10 of the rooms where empty and this is midweek in the middle of the city).

after all that, i still have to see another doc whose waiting list is 3 weeks long while i try and get my gastric reflux thing underwraps and keep my migraines at bay (ugh).

no one likes a whinger, but sometimes you just gotta.

p.s. i'm OK, it could be worse. just a little off kilter.
