the no update update

the long weekend did more harm than good. spent most of it wide awake in pain, with ligaments and stomach muscles stretching and making me reconsider any kind of birth plan. (3am on sunday morning i decided i'm gonna give birth by the same laser beam they use on UFO's to beam you up and down. by 6am i decided that was silly and that the baby would teleport out on it's own, cause it must have some sort of magical power due the to hours of faith tv we watched that night). i woke up even more zombie-like this morning due to some all night sleep talking and sleep gymnastics. i can always tell that i've been busy in my sleep if i wake up and go to brush my teeth with a hairbrush and my moisturiser.

i did go in for my blood test this morning ahead of my first scan next week very very excited to finally see the baby and check on things. i feel like i haven't done anything in the past 3 months, so this is a first.

mum and dad get back from malaysia this weekend, my grandfather had surgery this past week and looks to be on the mend. Regan will be leaving to go to the States in a couple of weeks, so i'm not really looking forward to that. he won't miss my birthday though, so we'll try to do something cool for it.

a big HELLO to the new friends that have popped in and emailed me recently. it's always nice to hear from you i have to mention that i don't have comments turned on, for any of my blogs, because i was getting too much spam and it was taking up too much resources on the server. y'all know where i am anyway (hopefully) so you can msg me, flickrmail me, sms me whenever you like.

i'm off to eat my third breakfast of the morning (or an early lunch) and then i'm sending Regan out to get me 10kgs of Jelly Belly A&W Root Beer jelly beans. got a craving.
