busy busy

spent a LONG day out yesterday - almost didn't make it through, but i did and i'm stoked. seems like the morning sickness is being kind to me (i'm reluctant to say it's gone because i don't want to jinx it).

saturday started out with a 6am wake up call so i could meet my parents out in the Hills area for a good old fashioned househunting. (Regan was working, so i went on my own with them). we ended up seeing about 6 houses and townhouses, but it took up most of the day when we finished at 5pm after viewing what seems to be 'the one'. funny how that works, spend the whole day schlepping your pregnant ass around the town and it's the last one you find, which also happens to be one that you stumbled across by accident! nothing's promised yet though - we still have to sell our apartment and hopefully we can do that quickly and without hassles. cross your fingers for us, i also gotta do that on my own as Regan's leaving for the States soon (he's coming back, don't you worry haha)

anyway, when i got back at 7pm Regan was home and we headed out to see Wilco at the Enmore. they're amazing live - it was so good to see them finally and i know Regan had a great time. we ended up leaving during the second encore so we could catch a cab and head back to the city without too much waiting. by the end of it, i was almost in a coma so i was thankful we did that. god, i'm sad.

so sunday is my day of rest. we have an early appointment tommorrow with the obstetrician and/or midwife (not sure yet) which is cool! but if i don't sit down, the universe will implode.

UPDATE - 10 mins later
oh god i'm headed out again. my parents found an even better place so i agreed to drive back out to check it out. pray for my feet. i'm so glad i slept in this morning. i video called them so i had a look through it briefly - and it does look like a great place, so i'm excited to see it. my parents have done all the hard work, i shouldn't complain!

UPDATE - 3PM
just signed some papers. we bought a new 4 bedroom house!! too bad Regan hasn't seen it yet
