I made a post on my personal blog a few days ago bout 8 month sleep regression and I’ve been reading into it a bit more this week, reading other parents’ stories.
I would love to hear from you if you have experiences with sleep regression’s at any stage of your baby’s life - how they behaved, how they calmed/settled, how you dealt with the sleep deprivation and how you are going today.

In my first trimester, I discovered the whole world of morning sickness remedies - ginger, vitamin b6, extra water, extra sleep, more protein and carbs
What was your morning sickness saviour?
Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves welcomed their first child into the world Monday afternoon in Los Angeles, his rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com.
Alves, 24, gave birth to the as-yet-unnamed baby at 6.22 p.m. local time weighing 7 lb., 4 oz.
Neural scans on women help explain the extremely strong bond between mother and baby by showing how images of the infant affect the brain.
A study involving 28 first-time mothers shows that when a woman looks at a photo of her baby smiling the reward centres of her brain light up.
These regions, called the substantia nigra, the striatum and the frontal lobe, are involved in emotion processing, cognition and behavioural outputs.
Lead researcher Lane Strathearn, a Queenslander now based in the US, said these areas had also been activated in experiments associated with drug addiction.
“It may be that seeing your own baby’s face is like a natural high,” said Dr Strathearn, who is based at the Baylor College of Medicine in Texas.
AUSTRALIAN actress Nicole Kidman has given birth to a girl.
The baby was born today in Nashville, Kidman’s husband Keith Urban told fans on his web site.
“Earlier this morning, Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban.
“We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers,” said Urban, the New Zealand-born Grammy- and ARIA-winning country music singer.
“We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with you today,” he said.
It is the couple’s first child together.
The 26-year-old star - who already has a five-month-old daughter Harlow with partner Joel Madden - is said to be expecting her second child, after deciding she wanted a companion for her baby.
A source told America’s Star magazine: “Nicole is dying to have a sibling for Harlow who is close in age. She doesn’t want them to be more than two years apart, so that they can be best friends forever.”
GLAMOUR: You look great, Christina. How quickly did you notice a change in your body?
CA: Being the perfectionist that I am, my attitude was, this had better hurry up–I want results! My trainer kept saying, “Give it time, you’re looking great.” Everyone around me was saying they could see a difference, but, you know, you’re hardest on yourself. I did see my stomach get flatter and tighter and more muscle definition.
GLAMOUR: What did you like the least about your postbaby body and what did you like the most?
CA: Well, I was OK with the booty and the boobs! [Laughs.] My stomach was really where I carried my weight. Toward the end of my pregnancy, I felt really big–I gained about 40 pounds, which is a lot for my size. My hips also changed significantly. And my feet grew from a size 5 to a size 7 in flats–thank God they [went back to normal]. I would have been so depressed if I had to get rid of my shoe collection!
