Most of us, if not all at some stage, will have a fussy eater in our house – where one day something is THE BEST and they can’t get enough, and the next day it’s poison and nothing you can do can convince them any different.
Taste.com.au have over 17,000 recipes in their online recipe directory – and one of the categories is Kid friendly recipes!
My favourites this week are the Banana and hazelnut yoghurt fruit dip (so easy to serve with their daily fruit), Mediterranean pizzas and the very yummy Cheesy bean subs. All the recipes are simple, and the kids will love it. The best thing is that there are hundred’s of kid friendly recipes to try, so if they ever get bored, move on – or better yet, get them to choose one and have them help you!

Have you heard about Play at the Powerhouse Museum? I hadn’t, and I lived next door to it for a few years!
Play at Powerhouse is a resource for children aged up to the age of about 10 years and their parents and carers. It (their website) contains information for visiting the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, Australia with children; and extension materials, activities and games to engage children at home, around themes of science and design.
At the Powerhouse Museum itself, there are tonnes of activities to keep the kids entertained – such as the Zero Gravity Space Lab, Cog’s Playground and Cog’s Workshop where are different craft activities for children aged between 3 and 5 years.
The Powerhouse Museum is a wonderful place to spend the morning or afternoon with the kids, so get ready to Play!
The Powerhouse Museum
500 Harris St, Ultimo (behind Chinatown and Darling Harbour)
The Powerhouse Museum is currently open from 10.00am – 5.00pm every day except Christmas Day
