My kids are not even in school, but being the queen at planning (well ahead), I’ve looked into what’s happening in the upcoming July school holidays in Sydney! (I will post other Australian city activities soon :) )

Here are some of my favourites –

AMF Bowling – Australia Wide
Bowling is a favourite past time of mine – yes, bowling is available outside of Wii now kids! (haha!). It’s such a great family activity for the afternoon

Taronga Zoo – Sydney
A must-do if you haven’t been already (tsk tsk!), Taronga Zoo is proud to show off their newest addition, Pathi Harn, the gorgeous baby elephant that had a dramatic arrival earlier in the year. Don’t forget to wave to Luk Chai while you’re there too!

Sports Fundamentals – Sydney
It’s important to encourage sport activities when you can – that’s why Sports Fundamentals is one of my favourites. July holiday camps run in Sydney (Neutral Bay, East Lindfield & Moore Park) for 3-7 year olds and focus onTennis, Cricket, Basketball, T-Ball, Soccer, Football, Hockey, Throwing and Obstacle Courses.

Marian St Theatre for Young People – Sydney
For the budding actor/actress in your family, an acting workshop during the holidays is bound to get them excited. Marian St Theatre (Killara) are holding 2 workshops – one for 5 to 8 year olds, another for 9 to 12 year olds. Workshops 1 & 2 will include voice and movement skills, improvisation, character development, script work and plenty of fun! These workshops are a great introduction to drama.

Kids In the Park: Sydney Olympic Park – Sydney
There is so much to do out at Sydney Olympic Park, including a great range of sports clinics, creative workshops and fun events. My favourite would have to be the daily game of The Amazing Chase.
