The art of sending a card is not lost! While it might be easy to email a greeting (it’s free & instant), taking time to select a beautiful greeting card, handwriting a message and sending it by post shows the recipient a little more love than an email ever could.

For children growing up in this digital age, writing a letter or sending a card by mail might be very foreign to them! That’s why I think it’s important to find beautiful gift cards and stock up on a few of them.

Chickenfoot Designs are a small design company in Melbourne and have some really cute gift cards available from their range that are made from certified recycled paper and are made locally in Australia.

Pictured above are cards from the Children’s range – E for Elephant, Blue Rattle Pattern, Digger and Red Rocking Horse.

They also have some great cards for grownups and also tea towels & notebooks. I really like the simplicity and sweetness of their children’s card designs – each design is suitable as a birthday card, get well soon card, congratulations card or even just a ‘thinking of you’ card.

You can buy the gift cards online via the Chickenfoot Designs website for AU$6, or check for a stockist near you.
