Shape sorters are a must have in any child’s toy box – it’s easily one of the more educational toys you can buy for your child that is affordable and battery free. Sorting shapes helps with fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination and is a fun way to teach them about colour and shapes at the same time.
I remember having the classic Tupperware shape sorter, the Shape-O, in fact I think it’s still somewhere at my parents house! If you can choose a good quality shape sorter, it’ll last you through the years too.
There are some beautiful shape sorting toys available online – here are my favourites:

one. Janod Wooden House Shape Sorter $54.95
two. Shape Sorter Noah’s Ark $49.95
three. I’m School Bus Sorter $44.95
four. I’m Cow Geo Sorter $29.95
five. MULA Shape sorter AU$9.99
They’re all so bright and fun!
