Today’s post comes from my obsession with searching Etsy for cute posters – and I’ve stumbled across the work of Steph Baxter.

I love spotting colourful prints for the nursery and kids rooms – if I could, I’d have a whole wall dedicated just to Etsy finds…. I’m particularly fond of the Solar System artwork by Steph, and love everything about Lets Have Fun Today

I think it’s alot of fun to introduce the alphabet, animals, concepts and colours through artwork – and nothing is more fun that surfing the pages of Etsy with a cup of tea on hand…

Found! An alphabet poster that is both cool and educational!

This awesome A to Z poster by The Indigo Bunting, doesn’t feature the letters itself, but does have a picture to represent each of the 26 letters of the alphabet instead. I think this is a great way to get young minds thinking about applying letters to words and objects – not only do they need to think about what letter of the alphabet it is, but what the picture is (and then maybe even further – how to spell it).

Sleep tight with your own personalised night light by MyLight – for the kids of course!

MyLight is a family owned business based in Adelaide, South Australia. I’ve seen them around online and at expo’s and they’re always a popular exhibit to visit You can tell why – the design of the MyLight is unique to other children’s night lights that I’ve seen.

It provides a small amount of light – just enough for that late night/early morning nappy changes. And when the child grows older, the style of the MyLight carries through (no fluffy ducks or pink bows to embarass them!).
