Apologies for this late blog post, I’ve been meaning to do a write up on this for a few months now but time has gotten away from me! Back in September 2009, I was kindly invited to attend The Baby Show to check out the new ABC Design ‘Zoom’ Tandem Pram that Western Bloc were coming out with. I’d been on the lookout for a double pram, and the Zoom caught my eye from looking at the pics and specifications on the net. Checking it out in person at The Baby Show in Sydney, it left a good impression on me! Although I couldn’t test drive it, the Zoom double pram actually looked more compact that I had thought, without being too squishy if you wanted to reverse the seats to face each other or away etc. The sturdy, strong frame was still light – so it’s still perfect for those who worry about trying to fold up and carry a hefty pram to/from the boot of the car.
Arriving in January 2010, the RRP tag of $1595 may be out of reach for alot of families, but I feel that the Zoom double pram will be high on the list of those looking for a decent double pram that will grow with them from newborn to toddlerhood. (I will mention that I didn’t end up waiting for the Zoom because my 2 kids are heavy babies and the double pram I ultimately chose accommodated for this).

For more information on the ABC Design Zoom twin pram, plus other ABC Design prams (including the super cool looking 3 Tec prams), please visit the Western Bloc website – www.westernbloc.com.
