i’ve decided, i’m no writer. and while i can talk and talk and talk about my beautiful Jasper, i don’t think i could keep up with the monthly newsletter anymore, so i’ll just post about him whenever i feel like, which is probably going to be more than monthly now \ud83d\ude1b <\/p>\n

my beautiful boy is 13 months old now, and truly (and i cannot stress this more) the light of our lives. i’ve always had this dream that motherhood would be an amazing experience, but being Jasper’s mum surpasses that dream, a million fold. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Jasper’s picking up so much at a fast rate (fast, to us) – he’s pointing out to things when we ask where they are (star, Mischa, clock, tv, computer, balloon, bed, book, water, duck, rocket, car, telephone ..) and is trying to say some words (‘bye’ comes out ‘dye’; ‘clock’ and ‘duck’ sound like ‘glock’ – ‘mama’, ‘dada’ and ‘mum mum’ which is his word for food, comes out ok!). I’ve been pointing to my belly and calling it ‘baby’ and I think he’s picking that up too … slowly. <\/p>\n

he is running around confidently, and lately we see him trying to climb the stairs like we do (not crawl up them) though he is still way too little for that. He’s learnt how to spin my computer chair around, when I’m in it, and he wants a hug. He holds a pen well (for a 13 month old) and can scribble on the scribble board we bought him for his birthday. He used to just chew the pen a bit, but nope, he will scribble a bit now. <\/p>\n

\"peekaboo!!\"<\/a><\/p>\n

he’s playing peek-a-boo with the curtains and us alot – which reminds me to check that all the curtain rods are sound because he loves to take the curtain with him too .. he loves to dance and bounce on our bed. his smile and his eyes make my heart skip and my eyes well up. <\/p>\n

there is no part of my son that I do not find intriguing and that I do not love. <\/p>\n
