
define('DISABLE_WP_CRON', true);{"id":1281,"date":"2009-03-11T10:18:54","date_gmt":"2009-03-10T23:18:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sh1ft.org\/blog\/?p=1281"},"modified":"2009-03-11T17:46:35","modified_gmt":"2009-03-11T06:46:35","slug":"hello-30-weeks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sh1ft.org\/blog\/1281\/","title":{"rendered":"hello, 30 weeks!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/traceytakesphotos\/3331955619\/\" title=\"Untitled by traceytakesphotos, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3658\/3331955619_85924f6232_m.jpg\" width=\"130\" height=\"240\" alt=\"\" align=\"right\" \/><\/a>so today we hit the magical 30 week mark! excuse me while my eyes boggle out of my head &#8211; <strong>but hasn&#8217;t this gone too fast??<\/strong> i&#8217;m at the pointy end of the pregnancy now, where i&#8217;m starting to look like i&#8217;ve smuggled a basketball or i&#8217;m constantly doggy paddling and running out of puff. it&#8217;s becoming more and more real, that in 12 weeks time (at the most), another little human being will enter into this world and i cannot wait for it all to happen!<\/p>\n<p>i&#8217;ve started back at regular (well, once a week) swimming to help my back and rsi issues. if there was anything i would complain about for this pregnancy, is that my back is causing me so much grief, that i swear like a drunken sailor under my breath every time i try to get up or roll over or scoot down or sneeze. swimming seems to help alot &#8211; the day or so after i&#8217;ve had a good swim, my back doesn&#8217;t hurt as much. so i&#8217;m busting to get back into the pool again, tonight hopefully! i&#8217;m not the swearing kind, it&#8217;s not becoming LOL<\/p>\n<p>i&#8217;m learning that my stomach cannot handle too much food anymore, again. big breakfast is OK, medium lunch and then a small small dinner is necessary &#8211; or chaos ensues! i remember last time with Jasper, about this point in the pregnancy,<a href=\"http:\/\/sh1ft.org\/blog\/?p=956\"> i went into the hospital because of incredibly bad stomach pain<\/a> &#8211; so i keep this in mind every day. <\/p>\n<p>baby girl (or boy, as Regan wants to point out &#8211; the sonographer &#8216;could be wrong you knowwwwww&#8217;) is doing well. definately a mover like her brother, always kicking or rolling which is a sign of good health apparently. she&#8217;d be just over 1kg now &#8211; so the rest of the time she&#8217;ll be gaining weight (that&#8217;s my excuse for whatever i&#8217;ve put on so far LOL). i wonder who she&#8217;ll look like more \ud83d\ude42 i&#8217;m so curious! <\/p>\n<p>i had been umming and ahhing about going to get professional photos taken of this pregnancy at some point &#8211; but i figure, i have a camera and i used to take a decent photo in my time, get off your butt and do it yourself \ud83d\ude1b so the photos you see here are from last week (29 weeks long). i&#8217;ll take another set at about 36-38 weeks i think .. i&#8217;m also really into the idea of photographing or even videoing the labour and birth process more this time. no &#8216;up&#8217; shots or anything confronting, but just a snippet of something to document it <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/traceytakesphotos\/3331955505\/\" title=\"Untitled by traceytakesphotos, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3614\/3331955505_f704fd56a7.jpg\" width=\"470\" height=\"303\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>i&#8217;m starting to get a little sad that it&#8217;s coming to an end already, this will be our last child (i do keep myself open as a surrogate in the future, but of course they won&#8217;t be <em>my <\/em>kids then). yep, pregnancy is tough, even though i&#8217;ve had it &#8216;easy&#8217; &#8211; it certainly does effect you in more than one way. i&#8217;m very lucky to be in this position and i thank buddha for my growing belly and stretchmarks each day. <\/p>\n<p>after this bub is born and the memories fade, i will always have the gratitude and the respect for what i was able to experience. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>so today we hit the magical 30 week mark! excuse me while my eyes boggle out of my head &#8211; but hasn&#8217;t this gone too fast?? i&#8217;m at the pointy end of the pregnancy now, where i&#8217;m starting to look like i&#8217;ve smuggled a basketball or i&#8217;m constantly doggy paddling and running out of puff.
