To my darling baby girl, today marks your one month birthday \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n

$\"\"$ <\/a>As I sit here feeding you, I can’t help but note how amazing the past 4 weeks have been. You have accomplished the miraculous – brightened my already incredible life. You’re my cherry on my delicious cake.<\/p>\n

I always had the wish to experience a drug free labour but had doubts. But this was the first gift you gave me – you were calm, so I was calm; you were ok, so I was ok. It was an affirmation of life for me, and the beginning of yours. <\/p>\n

Since your arrival you have brought nothing but joy – even your big brother Jasper lights up whenever you’re around, you certainly know how light up the room \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

$\"\"$ <\/a>And you know how to scream one down too! Not in a bad way, I figure you just know what you want and want it done now. Some say you take after me, and I agree – us Taurean girls gotta stick together! You’re a girly girl, we think. TMI (a warning for when you’re 15 and too embarrassed by this stuff) but you hate hate hate being in a soiled diaper – it must be changed, and changed NOW. I don’t blame you though, no one really wants to sit in their own poop, do they? <\/p>\n

From day one, you’ve been a big sucker. And by that I mean, you love the dummy. Jasper never took to a dummy, so this is new for us – and your Dad and I say, whatever keeps you happy, keeps us happy (and it certainly makes Grandpa happy – he thinks Jasper drools so much because he never used one)! Jasper sees you sucking away and has snatched it out of your mouth a few times to give it a go himself, I think you’ve taught him the joy of pacifiers… <\/p>\n

$\"\"$ <\/a>We were very surprised when you arrived into this world with a full head of hair – and continue to be amazed at your beautiful features, daily. You have these big big eyes that stare into the atmosphere, already so curious and full of wonder. You ‘coo’ and ‘call’ and ‘beep’ and gurgle – earning you the nickname ‘kitten’ because you seem to meow as if to remind us of your beauty (as if we’d forget!). <\/p>\n

You’re very long\/tall, we’ve noted – a full 4cms taller than Jasper at this stage, so no wonder I was feeling the kicks *and* punches while pregnant with you .. thanks for that, by the way \ud83d\ude1b You have very girly, long fingers and a fine set of fingernails to match.. scratch mittens are a must on you 24\/7 as your nails seem to have a life of their own. <\/p>\n

Your Daddy and I love you very much, and feel like you’ve always been around. We’re now 4 peas in a pod, and couldn’t be happier. Knowing what I know after having your brother, I am soaking you up probably more than a normal human would\/should, but I can’t help it. I’m already too enchanted by you to ever stop loving you, staring at you, and giving you a billion kisses. I hope you don’t mind. This stage of your life is going to go by so quickly that I don’t want to miss out. I love nothing more than falling asleep with you cuddled up to me, waking in the middle of the night to comfort you and the discovery of this amazing little person that I proudly call my daughter. <\/p>\n
