tomorrow marks 6 weeks since Jovie’s arrival, and i’m happy to report that all is well with Jovie and myself \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

me – i’m surprised at how well i’ve “recovered” this time around. pretty much straight away, i’ve been up and doing things as per usual.. of course i haven’t gone lumber jacking or run a marathon, and let’s face it i never will, but it’s been good to get back into things so quickly. <\/p>\n

size wise, i’ve got a way to go before i fit back into my size 8’s and frankly i think i will probably just stay a 10 or 12 now (down from the size 14 i was during pregnancy). i really don’t mind at this stage, but my jelly belly has been getting a work out now that i’m back doing pilates. i’ve given myself until my 30th to lose the extra 3-4kgs but hopefully 12 months is more than enough time <\/p>\n

Jovie – well what can i say? she’s an absolute DOLL. i think we’ve cracked her code – she’s been sleeping through the night this week and sleep is restored to almost normal! i didn’t want to jinx it, but i can’t help but be deliriously happy to get more than 3 hours of sleep in one stretch – it’s such a luxury to have 2 sleeping babies in the house and i know how lucky i am. <\/p>\n

she’s getting better at tracking people and things lately, i feel like she can’t take her eyes off me and that’s totally ok \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
