define('DISABLE_WP_CRON', true);{"id":1755,"date":"2009-11-24T15:52:52","date_gmt":"2009-11-24T05:52:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sh1ft.org\/blog\/?p=1755"},"modified":"2009-12-08T14:27:07","modified_gmt":"2009-12-08T04:27:07","slug":"htc-hero","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sh1ft.org\/blog\/1755\/","title":{"rendered":"HTC Hero"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I ended up buying the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.htc.com\/au\/product\/hero\/overview.html\">HTC Hero<\/a> to replace my older mobile phone &#8211; and it&#8217;s been a good experience with it so far!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/traceytakesphotos\/4129614699\/\" title=\"Untitled by traceytakesphotos, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2680\/4129614699_cbe6c0a6c5_m.jpg\" width=\"161\" height=\"240\" alt=\"\"  align=\"right\" \/><\/a>I&#8217;ll make a proper post once I&#8217;ve spent a couple of weeks playing with all the features and using it properly, but so far I love the Twitter widget (Peep), love that it shows the weather straight up (I&#8217;m a bit of a weather geek..), love the 5MP camera (as opposed to my old 1MP), love the WiFi, love the browser, love the calender, love the easy access to things&#8230;. and it&#8217;s not bad looking too, really slick graphics. <\/p>\n<p>As I mentioned before, I didn&#8217;t really want to spend that much, but given the fact we don&#8217;t upgrade our phones often and we&#8217;ve been saving our butts off this year &#8211; I wanted to do it right.
