ended up buying a lomo lca at a discounted price (instead of paying the AUS$300 tag, i spent about AUS$100 – still expensive, but not as shocking on my bank account). i really feel the need to expand medium’s and just do a little exploring creatively. i’m still hunting for the medium format camera i want .. most probably a holga sf or a lubitel 166U – but it’s not a hurry hurry buy buy thing cause i’ll just lomo-around some more. (the cybersampler is on it’s way to Brooke in Iowa! yay lomo adventures ahoy!)<\/p>\n

i’ve decided to put off going back to college and getting my diploma cause right now i really can’t spare the cash. so rather, getting the new lomo and a medium format will be my way of expanding and experimenting without spending $1000. Regan thinks it’s a good idea too, trying out different things on my own and just learning things through trial and error is what i’ve always done anyway.<\/p>\n

still tired, very pms-y. and things are hard lately for me – being away from Regan. but i go on, like always. i don’t want to whine about it too much cause i’m luckier than most people would be, in this regard. but it does hurt and i’ll be okay. <\/p>\n

got a call from KT in London last night really good to hear from her and know that she’s going really well. i should get off my ass and see my friends a bit more .. i’m really not social anymore (not that i ever was) but i’m such a bad friend <\/p>\n
