The door handle jiggles and his little head peers out. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mummy?&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Oh no, he&#8217;s up again. <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s just after 11pm and I&#8217;m working on my blogs before I head to bed myself, and Jasper is up for the second time since putting him to sleep at 9. He always wakes, it&#8217;s like clockwork these days. <\/p>\n<p>The only thing to settle him is to lay down next to him and pretend to sleep yourself. Though these days, you can safely replace the word &#8220;pretend&#8221; with &#8220;go&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>I wake up at 6am, half my body hanging off his tiny toddler bed, let out a sigh and then I smile.
