so it’s monday the 6th already. i woke up at around 6.30 this morning, got up and back into my schedule and now i’m here again! next break will be in may for the wedding, hopefully i’ll be able to take 2 or 3 weeks off for that – but we’ll have to see cause i can’t really afford to take time off.. grrrr. so much for relaxing over christmas!

finally managed to see two towers – i had to buy the tickets early in the morning for the night screening at 7, and even then it was sold out! i was kinda iffed from the thought of sitting in one place for 3 hours straight, but the movie did a pretty good job in keeping me in my seat i’ll need to see it again though but i think hayley wants to go see harry potter and she’s taking me with her.. and of course there’s 8 mile which should be interesting..

wedding updates? nothing much still, the visa is the cracker really. until then, we can’t really book anything for sure. however, mum has finally realised that i needed to get my dress started, so it’s on it’s way! really exciting AND we’re saving $1500+ on it which is a big step in the right direction. mum reckons we should write a book on how to plan a dream wedding on a budget i can’t believe people spend $50,000 when they don’t need too

things i need to figure out in the next month :

_ hair & makeup (two things i don’t normally give a crap about and don’t know about really. heck i haven’t worn make up for at least a year or so and even then it was just foundation or something)

_ bridesmaid dresses

_ invitations & wedding favours

_ photographer

_ whether we need a wedding co-ordinator, which i think would be a good idea since i want all my family and friends to actually have fun and not worry about chairs and picking up trash

there’s still a bunch of things to do, but we’re going to wait til we know it’s confirmed, and most of it i want Regan to be here to decide things otherwise it’s really my mum’s wedding haha

my sister’s job is to organise some sort of kitchen tea which i had no idea about.. wedding rituals/traditions are weird but it’s kinda fun ..
