i like sundays, we usually don’t plan anything for it so we just end up doing something random. my parents and my sister called this morning, so they’re coming over to have lunch which was yet another random sunday thing. i want to walk out to the rocks<\/a> today to get some photos, but we’ll see .. <\/p>\n

another one of my photographs<\/a> has been shortlisted for an australian publication through noise<\/a> – very cool! even if it doesn’t get published, it still gives me a bit of confidence that maybe i can do something with photography in the future. <\/p>\n

i went out the other day with my polaroid land camera to get some photos<\/a> taken and it was really cool to learn how to handle it – sounds strange, but it’s harder than you think.. polaroid for me, while instantaneous, is about light, composition and development timing. i’ve still got to get the technique down – there seems to be a half inch give to the left, but overall i’m happy with clicking away my last 2 packs of film. <\/p>\n

i have a poll up on the 26 Things<\/a> website since i have decided to do another one this year.. go vote! i planned a more abstract and challenging list, but i thought some people might not want that in a list since the first one took alot of time for some. all in all, let me know by voting so that i can get a date set for the next 26 Things!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
