1. yelling at me in a foreign language and broken english DOESN’T make me work harder and faster for you. belittling me, my work and the company i work for doesn’t make me happier, either. i appreciate not being treated like a piece of trash when i always do my best for every client i have. you try translating and coding pages and pages of foreign characters in 1 hours notice. sheesh!<\/p>\n
2. restarting your computer to find that the ENTIRE d drive has disappeared – the d drive with 4+ years of work – is not a fun time for anyone. remember to back up everything while you can! my cd burner is on the fritz aswell, so i can’t backup anything unless i buy about 1000 discs. <\/p>\n
3. paying for an internet connection and fax number that doesn’t work isn’t cool. dial up will have to do until everything is fixed. <\/p>\n
4. an almost 2 hour late pizza is better than no pizza at all. <\/p>\n
yesterday wasn’t the finest of days i’ve spent lately, but i’m glad it’s almost the weekend! i just hope this computer doesn’t die on me any further – otherwise things (26 things, shutterbug etc.) are going to be lateeeeeeeee. eeep. i gotta send some good karma my way. <\/p>\n
i’m really itching to take a drive somewhere nice and get some photos taken, aswell as redesigning a few sites. hopefully i’ll get to see some friends this weekend too, it’s been a while. we sent out the wedding invites last week and have gotten a great response on the design and photos! that reminds me, i’ll post it up either today or tommorrow once photoshop behaves. <\/p>\n
