define('DISABLE_WP_CRON', true);{"id":670,"date":"2005-05-09T08:43:25","date_gmt":"2005-05-08T21:43:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sh1ft.org\/blog\/?p=670"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T13:00:00","slug":"taking-on-the-big-dogs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sh1ft.org\/blog\/670\/","title":{"rendered":"taking on the big dogs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>last week i decided that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/traceytakesphotos\/sets\/290297\/\">Mischa<\/a> needed much more socialisation with other dogs and humans, so on saturday morning we headed out to Hawthorne Canal for a peek around. <\/p>\n<p>Mish&#8217;s still not up to big walks, so we started out with just a small stretch of grass and back to the car again. on the way, she must of met 10 or 12 dogs of all sizes &#8211; the best match would of been the huge labrador which Mischa loved to jump up on, and another giant dog (i can&#8217;t remember the breed) that slobbered all over her face and left a big goober right in between her eyes.. very very cute but SMELLY! haha<\/p>\n<p>by the time she got back to the car, she was out like a light which is what i wanted. it&#8217;s good to keep her happy and busy &#8211; she loved the interaction, though she&#8217;s going through a &#8216;i&#8217;m scared of bird noises&#8217; phase, so i decided to bring her back on sunday for another outing. <\/p>\n<p>the best part, for me, was that i got to see other dogs, big and small, and met alot of people. everyone was so nice, and LOVED that Mischa &#8216;prances&#8217; when she walks.
