hooray! last thursday we passed 16 weeks along in the pregnancy!<\/p>\n
i’m starting to feel more like myself, unpregnant and itching for a shopping spree! i do have a cold (sore throat, throbbing headache and the sniffles) but nothing the bub and i can’t handle. <\/p>\n
in the past week, i’ve gone to thinking i’m never going to get a baby bump, to the start of a definate change in shape. things go very quickly, apparently, in the next couple of weeks. my jeans no longer do up (yes i still wear them.. the horror of an open fly!) so i’m trying to get creative now that it’s getting colder and colder. i don’t think the world is ready for me to walk around with a doona<\/a> cape.. <\/p>\n had a check up at the hospital today, and the obstetrician gave me the go ahead to see a midwife for the rest of the pregnancy, things are going very well \ud83d\ude42 i also got to hear the heartbeat again today!! the little one was hiding way lower than i thought, but it’s beating strong and the doc was very happy.<\/p>\n i’ve been feeling the little movements more and more in the past month – from maybe once a week, to maybe 5-6 times a day now. i love it! but i can’t wait for the REAL kicks so Regan can cop it .. i mean so he can join in on the fun \ud83d\ude09 \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n my next appointment is the scan at 19 weeks to see how things are going and to find out the baby’s gender!!!!! at first, i really thought it was a girl but this past week i’ve really been swayed to believe it’s a boy… we have about 3 weeks to go, so let the guessing begin!!
