as i look down on my ever-expanding belly, i’m still in denial that in no more than a few weeks time my son will be introduced into this big world of ours. i feel as humble as i did in those early weeks in this pregnancy, i know i’ve already started a big adventure, one that will last me until the rest of my days and beyond. <\/p>\n

as for ailments of the past month – i’m definately tired alot more, my back hurts in a new way now, legs and feet and hands are swollen, i can’t bend my fingers without grimacing in pain (makes teethbrushing suck!). i tend to lose my breath alot more, even when sitting down. i can see a couple of small stretchmarks starting to form on the bottom of the bump, but that doesn’t bother me at all. i’m starting to nest, but know that i can’t go crazy with it. i can’t wear my wedding and engagement rings anymore, so i’ve kept it in a safe place elsewhere. <\/p>\n

whenever i pass a mirror, i giggle at the sight of how big i’m getting – i love it. it crept up on me, but finally i’m obviously <\/em>pregnant! people are starting to stop and stare, which i don’t mind, i’m just lucky that people are not reaching out to touch the bump without permission. they’re probably just wondering when i was going to take out the basketball i’ve got hidden under my shirt. <\/p>\n

so now that we’re moved into our new home, i’m going to try and use the time wisely – get the nursery set up and decorated, then feet up! i want to spend this last month (more or less) really slowing down and keeping in tune with myself and the bub, and of course Regan. we’re on the home stretch and i’m so ready to go!! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
