me and my camera: amanda

I met my SX70 at the Sydney Camera Market and won her in a battle with another Sydney shooter who goes by the name of Jimagery. He was a gentleman and let me take her home. You were there that day, Tracey!

I love my SX70 because not only does she produce the most gorgeous colours, tones and light filled magic squares of joy, but she has stretched me and taught me so much as a photographer. I truly believe that the widths of my photography have expanded greatly since working with the SX70. She has taught me so much about light and taught me to be patient.

I have taken her to mountains and oceans, cafes and baseball games. She has been to Melbourne, Boston, Vancouver, Queensland, Banff, Seattle and Hawaii!
My dream is to take her to Paris and Italy. She’s also lead me on some pretty amazing adventures professionally. I can only imagine what beauty she will lead me to in the future.
