catching up

so anyway, calmed down now and tried to enjoy the weekend that has now passed. took mum and hayley to the movies on sunday, we saw the ring which wasn't too bad, but wasn't the best. parts of it were really freaky and really beautiful at the same time but 2 days later i'm not as freaked out as my sister still is..

last night there was an amazing sunset that i tried to capture on film again, it's hard too though because i'd rather just sit and watch it melt away, but i got some pics anyway.. the sun was so red - i kept telling Regan (over a lagging msn) that it was glowing

btw, how do you like the new layout? i scrambled it up late last night.. and the 'listening to' section is back, thanks to some suggestions from bre & vincent

also! Global & Local Forecasts for the 2002 Leonid Meteor Shower tonight (well, in a few hours for the people in the Northern Hemisphere).
This week's Leonid meteor shower may be the largest such display until the end of the century, with possibly hundreds of meteors visible in the sky Tuesday morning. The annual meteor shower usually delivers only a few visible meteors. But hundreds per hour might be visible as they burn up in the atmosphere this time, scientists say. "Even with the full moon, this year's Leonids will probably be better than any other for the next hundred years," Don Yeomans, an astronomer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, said.
