it's been a year since the last re-design and i finally got cracking. i don't think it was a matter of me being lazy (although i'm sure that's part of it), i was just afraid to touch the design really because it was simple and seemed to work well. so with this design i just wanted to continue the kitchy, cute, cartoony, simple and fun theme. i just went for whatever i wanted. anyway, why am i going on about it?

go. visit!in other news, Maurice Gibb of The Bee Gees died yesterday. my dad is probably one their biggest fans, he's always playing their cd's or vcd's, he loves to sing along and play his guitar - so it wasn't a surprise that he was upset about it. like so many other people, my dad grew up idolising them, he'd even play their songs in his own band in the town he lived in. i think with all this, it's comforting to know that he had a great life and made so many people, like my dad, happy.

that's so cool. the menu-like layouts, comic graphics, and little advertisement-styled buttons like "try our free email!" all bring together an infectiously cute design.
