changing water
the past week for the new fish have been .. eventful to say the least. all the guppies we had in the tank died one by one. not a good feeling to go downstairs in the morning to do a head count and there's one dead in the corner again. we went back to the shop where we got the from and the guy gave us free ones because it looked like the fish might have been sick to begin with. water changes and ammonia checks were not enough for them. the new ones are lovely though, and my angel fish are looking so amazing getting their colours and stripes and everything.
grandma is alive. and thats the most important thing. though still paralysed and without speech, she's a fighter and is doing better than last week. i don't know how i'd handle being paralysed. not being able to do things for myself.. i know i'd be glad to be still breathing though. gotta deal with what you're given i always say. mum will probably be coming home next week if everything is ok, she's handling it in her own special way. special meaning, traversing up and down the country, even going to singapore for a day. most of it for doctor's appointments for my grandpa though, but the other part just catching up with her brother's.
been working on some 'art' if you could call it that. more like venting through the computer. been taking some photos that i really like myself. trying to really decide whether i want to do photography commerically, or just continue doing my own thing and if someone likes it, then great.
a big thank you to everyone who's sent me good vibes lately, i appreciate the thoughts. i've likened the past month of my life to 'changing water'. every now and again the water gets murky, and you need to do something about it to make things clear and easy to live with once more.
one thing i wanted to ask was, who's reading this? i used to just delete the archives of my stats but lately i've just been checking it out now and then. one of my other sites has gotten alot of unsavoury linkages, this one has been gettings hits from everywhere. tellmetellmetellme

I love that. Really.
And I like the overall feel of your works never actually leaving photoshop, with the palettes still roaming around it...
And some of the colors in your latest photographs are suberb as well. Congrats, Tracey.

I once had a big aquarium with a variety of fish. It was wonderfully soothing and calming to watch them. But soon I had a problem with a fish being dead on a daily basis, and I didn't know what was the cause. Then one night I discovered that the angel fish were attacking and killing all the other fish. While the angels are pretty and graceful, they are notriously agressive.
As always, my very best to you. :)

hey guys, thanks for sticking around ;) you know, this morning i woke up to go greet my lovely angel fish (the one in the photo) and you know what? it had died. damn stupid black mollies had killed it. fins picked apart, scales no longer .. scaly.. damn stupid mollies. they had been 'playing' with him all day yesterday and we thought they were just being .. well playful. grrrr
anyway, hi Vincent (praise from the god of creativeness, oh my)! hi Bre pea (was it my turn to write?)! hi Kane (thanks for the telepathic pastries)! Hi Cindy (my god do i love your website)!

hi tracey. sorry to hear about your grandma... it's pretty weird cause maria gracia's grandma was also paralyzed for a couple of weeks before gathering with the Lord... then mojca's grandma is pretty bad as well and now yours... why is this all happening? *shrug*
so anyway, I recently discovered you moved your journal over here... nice layout and stuff... at least we can pay attention to what's going on with you on this whole time you're away of your message boards... I'm about to start uni... yay! and I feel in the mood of sending letters and packages but I'm broke... damn.
so anyway, I'll keep reading your entries to keep on track of what you're doing... *stalks* hehehehe.
see ya! :)
