the sweet and sour

it's strange, a happy day with sad news. i won't say much of what's going on, but today 2 seperate clients i work with have had really devastating personal and financial news in the past 24 hours.
makes me grateful that i get to choose what kind of cake i want to eat tonight. little things are good.
