old times
over the weekend, my family was invited to an engagement party for one of our .. well family friends. she's around the same age as me, so we had alot to talk about wedding wise and it was really great to see her happy. in our great family tradition, there was alot of food (inculding my mum's famous pavlova), alot of alcohol and alot of reminiscing
part of the night was all the 'remember when' talks about our childhood's together. we were all apart of about 6 families that clung together for at least the first 12 years of my life. we went everywhere together - expo '88 in queensland, long car trips up and down the coast, every chinese new year, every christmas, every anything! it was really great to see everyone again. even if they did get me confused with my sister hayley (they always do). it's funny to see the aunties go 'you're NOT tracey! no way!'.

. a big chunk of that pavlova would of been gone though (it doesn't last long around us)
