featured!
guess who got their photo featured on their very own noise card? meeee!
i didn't know about it (again) so when i picked up my mail at my parents place today, there was the noise package with a deck of 54 interlocking picture cards. each have 6 slots cut into them so that you can build with them! (the advertised website is meant to be here but it's not up yet which is strange).
anyway, it's completely flattering that i was included with a range of talented talented photographers and artists. no i'm not putting myself down, i simply just love the work that is out there.
favourites? 'jenny & dog' and 'pammy' by rebecca hassett, 'hmmmm... dogs?' by jonathon chong, trent mitchell's series of photographs '...of the sea', 'under the cauldron' by kris dick and 'mustang' by cameron montgomery - but everyone is worth checking out. you can find them all at the
noise website. i'm not sure whether these cards are for sale but have a look out for them
i also got my first feedback from my college tutor - and it's all good! i stress about the smallest things when i don't need too sometimes. i managed to write my latest assignment so i'm praying it's going to be ok. i can't wait to get into the rest of the course! i really loved taking portraits of Regan for the last tutorial.
Regan and i heard that there might be an announcement for Radiohead's AUSTRALIAN tour later on in the week! we've already decided to go to all of the sydney shows they have - but i'm praying to god that i might be able to go in as part of the media and get some photography practise - how cool would that be??
holy moly - Regan, my sister and i went to see Kill Bill today! my review in 3 words : really bloody cool.

I thought the idea for Kill Bill was good, but I didn't think it pulled through. :( I wish there would have been kick-ass music in the fight scenes.

Radiohead? wha? when? They've been 'rumoured' for tours every April/March since Kid A, so I'll cross my fingers but not get excited until its announced.
BTW - where can I find these wonderful Noise things? I've only seen the Noise booklet that was thrown in with the most recent idN. Congratulations for getting featured tho :)

i reckon Kill Bill was good. i loved the whole feel of the movie placed somewhere between reality and a manga strip. can't wait for vol 2.

Kill Bill was cool... the blood was a tad bit over done though... esp at the end.
