ugh, just one of those days/nights.

1. yelling at me in a foreign language and broken english DOESN'T make me work harder and faster for you. belittling me, my work and the company i work for doesn't make me happier, either. i appreciate not being treated like a piece of trash when i always do my best for every client i have. you try translating and coding pages and pages of foreign characters in 1 hours notice. sheesh!

2. restarting your computer to find that the ENTIRE d drive has disappeared - the d drive with 4+ years of work - is not a fun time for anyone. remember to back up everything while you can! my cd burner is on the fritz aswell, so i can't backup anything unless i buy about 1000 discs.

3. paying for an internet connection and fax number that doesn't work isn't cool. dial up will have to do until everything is fixed.

4. an almost 2 hour late pizza is better than no pizza at all.

yesterday wasn't the finest of days i've spent lately, but i'm glad it's almost the weekend! i just hope this computer doesn't die on me any further - otherwise things (26 things, shutterbug etc.) are going to be lateeeeeeeee. eeep. i gotta send some good karma my way.

i'm really itching to take a drive somewhere nice and get some photos taken, aswell as redesigning a few sites. hopefully i'll get to see some friends this weekend too, it's been a while. we sent out the wedding invites last week and have gotten a great response on the design and photos! that reminds me, i'll post it up either today or tommorrow once photoshop behaves.

i keep reading message on some aussie newspaper/tvshows that something big radiohead-wise is going to happen on friday. dammit - they ARE coming to australia! right??

 

Replies: messages (4) hey! I'm sorry to hear you had a bad day but at least it's over now. I have the same thing going on with my cd burner. All of a sudden i noticed that my D AND E drives weren't being recognized. I unhooked the E and D shows up but not vice versa. I need E because that's my burner. So now I don't know what to do and some people are telling me to reformat.
