previous entry - next entry

Wednesday 29 October 2003
hi, i'm a freelance photographer

it sounds strange to say those words but i've been encouraged by my tutor to do it. it's a bit scary at first, but like anything i'll get used to it!

shutterbug has been redesigned but i'm not sure whether i like how the individual entry looks.. i'm still going through it and all tweaking parts here and there but overall the idea is there. i want each entry to be like a curation rather than just a photo.

there's a few projects i've been invited to participate in over the next 3 months, so it looks like my card is well and truly full for now! 26 Things 2 is coming up at the end of the week and i haven't had the time to 'advertise' - hopefully it'll all work itself out over the course of the month.

i'm still walking around like a zombie - maybe it doesn't have anything to do with the daylight savings change? Regan starts his much needed days off tommorrow, so at least he can sleep in and get the rest that he needs. the arthritis in my arm and hand is coming back in, which isn't fun, but it's better than having no arm at all

i started backing up my files yesterday - i got up to cd 16 and there was an error (dammit!) so i'll try again today. probably about 10 more cd's to burn, haha. i have way too much stuff on my computer

p.s. REGAN AND I ARE GOING TO RADIOHEAD!!!!

p.p.s. well, didn't this entry turn out to be insightful? :P

I saw them in Toronto. It was pretty good. Not quite as great as the shows I saw in '01. No b-sides, sadly. I had 3rd row tickets for the Chicago show too, but my car died an hour from the venue and we missed the show. I will never get over it.

That's awesome! I saw Radiohead in West Palm and as expected it was AMAZING, the band, the fans...everything.

I'm sure you'll have a great time ;)

Woohoo! Radiohead! And I really like the colors you picked for shutterbug. Not wild about scrolling right, but it's unique. :)

shutterbug looks damn good and the horizontal layouts are always different. i DO however, have a tedency to go for the previous and next buttons on the right side and not the left - but that's just where my natural movements guided me - i could be a freak :)

The shutterbug site's - and in fact the freelance statement in itself - is very inspirational :-) And Radiohead rocks!
