it's Regan and Tracey week!
since this is our last week before going back to work, Regan and i have made a pact to do a different thing each day! we're trying to do things that we normally wouldn't get to do together because of different work schedules so it's like being away on vacation, but staying at home. unfortunately, we didn't organise a proper honeymoon in time, so we're thinking of doing something for my birthday in april ... anyway!
on tuesday, we went on a harbour cruise which was beautiful. it took us under the harbour bridge and right around sydney harbour and we had a great seafood lunch onboard! i definately recommend it, especially if it's a great summer day like we had :D a touch on the windy side though, and unfortunately for us - we got 'sea sick' when we got back. could 'feel' the waves for hours afterwards which wasn't a nice experience.
today, we drove up to manly beach for a quick swim and look around. the currents were pretty strong so the red and yellow flags area was only about a 5 metre stretch at the south end of the beach but we had a great time together and got a tan while we're at it! afterwards, we popped over to warringah mall since i saw they had a few pet shops. the drive back to the city was ... like a sauna. for some reason the airconditioning in my car only would blow out hot/warm air, so as soon as we got back to the apartment - we jumped back into the pool!
tommorrow, we don't have rock solid plans but we'll keep you informed!
in other news, congrats to luke! (old school friend).
and vote for shutterbug in the the 2004 bloggies. best photography of a weblog.
thanks to everyone for the kind comments about our wedding photo! more to come sooooon!

It sounds like the two of you are having a nice honeymoon, even if it is at home.
Good Luck with the bloggies; I have a strong feeling that you are going to win.

aw i haven't been here in ages and i missed the wedding photo! *will frantically search through the archives after commenting here*
I went to Manly yesterday and it was exactly the same as you described!! PACKED along the whole stretch and the red & yellow flags was teenyyyyyyyy! the lifeguards kept blowing their damn whistle to get ppl into the flagged areas.. then about 4:30ish they told ppl it was COMPLETELY unsafe!!! so everyone had to get out .. how odd.
anyway i'm glad you're having a mini vacation :) enjoy it!
when i took my friend from canada around sydney i realised it's so beauitful :))
