i live for weekends

... don't we all?

i get through the week, knowing that i can do whatever i want, all day, on the weekend.

on saturday, jamieanne and i met up and took a walk around the city. it was COLD, windy windy COLD, so i'm glad i put on the 5 or so layers and actually wore shoes and socks for the first time this year (i know, i live in sandals). we browsed the rocks markets for a bit, and then wandered down to david jones to see Regan and ja bought some cute truffles. it was very nice to see jamieanne again, even though she got to eat all the yummy food lol. i got to take out the new holga lens for my 20d that Kim made me (thank youuu!!), i think it would work better in sunshine though so i'll have to wait til winter is over here :P

sunday morning, i woke up with my phone next to my head and i slowly remembered MAKING A CALL IN MY SLEEP. i don't think it was a full number (maybe 2-3 digits) but man, i'm getting weird with the sleep-activites.

later i hung out at my parents house, as i usually do on a sunday, so mischa can run around the backyard as much as she wants. mum made me a great beef curry, but i forgot that i shouldn't be eating beef right now! oops. i also got to stock up on more socks and a comfy pair of trackies since it's been cold in our apartment. my dad also bought me a new sewing machine!!!!!!! so i bought a few metres of flannelette to make some pj pants for Regan and myself. yay!!

so it's back to work this morning, it's really dark in here because outside is really gloomy. it's actually very nice because it doesn't feel like a full-on day. better get back to it though, they don't pay me for blogging all day.
