i’m getting a little nest-y (read: obsessed) with finishing a few things off in our house, lately. when we first moved in about 8 months ago, i was getting VERY pregnant and didn’t have the time or energy to buy the bits and pieces i thought we needed.
now, that i’m willing and able, i’m finally doing the small things to keep me happy – like today we made a trip to IKEA to get that 1 dining chair to complete our set (yay!), i also picked up a couple of metres of some cool fabric to cover J’s nursery chair which i’ve now stolen for our living room because it’s so cute!
i also found some cool wall stickers, which i’m itching to put up in our foyer but am still ummm-ing about painting the wall first… which brings me to another question
i think painting & wallpapering the walls is not an aussie thing? at least it’s not a tracey thing. i’ve never lived in a house with a painted (apart from the standard default paint job) or wallpapered wall. regan thinks that’s weird – he’s determined on painting his music room bright blue or green or yellow (he’s serious) and i’m just happy there’s a door on that room, lol.
